the project...
Time for Diamonds - a long standing and highly respected client of image twentyfour - wanted to introduce an online catalogue to enhance their existing website and subsequently generate further enquiries.
When discussing the project in further detail, it was suggested that rather than attempting to 'bolt on' the catalogue, that this would be an ideal opportunity to revamp the entire site and build in search engine optimisation at the same time.
Having received a commitment to proceed along those lines, a critical path was drawn up to ensure that deadlines could be achieved and the project commenced with concepts for the look and feel of the site. Approval followed shortly thereafter and photography of their current stock was soon underway.
Once that was completed, each and every image was retouched, background removed, resized and optimised for web before being imported into the design of the site and referenced against the stock list. As the site progressed, the client was involved with design and copy approval as and when required, right up to phase one completion [core brands and selected stock].
To help launch the new site, an email marketing campaign was also to be developed. We assisted the client to profile their target market and acquired a data list based on that criteria, as well as developing the email itself and managing the broadcast to a list of 3,500 names.
Just three weeks after the launch of the site, some 2,000 pages had been visited - as a result of the email marketing and search engine input with sales being generated from increased foot flow into the store.
